Build the Pyramid! on Roblox: the loop, the gym ladder and the passes
Build the Pyramid! is a co-op incremental experience by Janitors Studios. You carry blocks to a shared pyramid, train speed and strength, and count finished pyramids to unlock bigger gyms. This page explains the loop in order and the ladder it feeds; the number-crunching lives on the child pages.

What Build the Pyramid! asks you to do
The creator describes the whole game in four steps S1. Read in order, they are a loop rather than a list, because step 4 feeds back into step 3.
- 1
Pick up blocks and carry them to the pyramid
The block is the unit of work. Everything else in the game is upstream of this action: the shared pyramid only grows when players carry blocks to it.
- 2
Work together with everyone in the server
The pyramid is the server’s objective, not your private plot. Servers hold up to 100 players, so finished work by other players is progress you inherit.
- 3
Train to increase your speed and strength
Training raises exactly two named stats, speed and strength. The tiered training sites are the gyms named by the official passes.
- 4
Complete pyramids to become even stronger
Completed pyramids are the game’s progress counter. They gate the gym tiers at 1, 3, 8, 15 and 25, which is why pyramid count — not currency — is what you track.
The structural fact that matters most is step 4: progress here is counted in completed pyramids, not in a currency you spend. The verified thresholds are 1, 3, 8, 15 and 25 pyramids S3.
Everything downstream: the gym ladder and the planner, what speed and strength are for.
Your first ten minutes in a server
Servers hold up to 100 players S1 S2, so you are joining a crowd with a shared objective rather than starting a private save.
- Carry blocks before you train anything. Carrying is step 1 of the loop and the only action that moves the shared pyramid. Training is upstream of it, not a substitute for it.
- Stay on the server’s pyramid. Blocks only matter where the server is building. Servers hold up to 100 players, so you will almost never be working alone.
- Then use the gym. Training raises speed and strength. Speed shortens the walk between the block source and the pyramid, which is the trip the loop repeats most.
- Track your completed pyramids. That counter is what unlocks the next gym: 1, then 3, then 8, then 15, then 25 pyramids.
What not to expect on day one: no currency, shop, inventory, level or quest system appears in any source. The documented progression axes are completed pyramids and the speed/strength stats S1.
Device-by-device detail is on how to play.
The gym ladder is a pyramid count
The only progression numbers published anywhere for this game are in the official pass records: each gym pass states the completed-pyramid requirement it skips S3.
Two consequences: each tier multiplies the one below it by about 2–2.5× while the requirement it replaces climbs from 1 pyramid to 25, so the ladder is earned by carrying rather than bought; and the ADMIN gym is the one tier whose free requirement is never stated S3.
Enter your own completed-pyramid count on gym unlocks to see what is left to the next tier.
What the paid surface costs
Seven passes are sold and no other developer product is returned for the universe S3: the five numbered gym skips at 29, 99, 199, 399 and 699 R$, the ADMIN Gym pass at 1499 R$, and Unlock Pharaoh at 149 R$, whose official description reads “2x pyramids and instafill.”
Nothing here is required to play: every numbered skip removes a requirement that can also be earned. The full table, the official descriptions and the price-per-pyramid arithmetic are on passes.
Where you can play, and what changes
The creator states support for Desktop, Console, Mobile and Tablet S1; the experience page also reports Voice Chat and Camera support, a Minimal maturity rating and a 100-player server size S1 S2.
No source publishes key bindings or the on-screen layout, so this site does not print a guessed key list. See how to play for what is verifiable on each device.
One third-party tracker lists voice chat as disabled while the experience page and its own API record report it as supported S6; the disagreement is recorded on game status rather than smoothed over.
What is not published anywhere
Being explicit about the gaps is part of the answer here, because the rest of the web currently fills them with guesses:
- Any training rate, cost per level or stat cap — no public source states one.
- The numeric effect of speed or strength on carrying — no source explains it.
- How many blocks a pyramid needs, or how long one takes to complete.
- What “instafill” does — the phrase appears only inside the Pharaoh pass description and is explained nowhere.
- Key bindings and the on-screen layout on any device.
- Whether the game ever offered a redemption code.
