Build the Pyramid! Reference

How to play Build the Pyramid!: your first session

Everything here comes from what the sources actually state: the loop, the platform list, the server size and the gym requirements S1 S2 S3. Key bindings and screen layouts are not published anywhere, so this page does not invent them.

The order that works

  1. 1

Carry blocks before you train anything

Carrying is step 1 of the loop and the only action that moves the shared pyramid. Training is upstream of it, not a substitute for it.

  2. 2

    Stay on the server’s pyramid

Blocks only matter where the server is building. Servers hold up to 100 players, so you will almost never be working alone.

  3. 3

    Then use the gym

Training raises speed and strength. Speed shortens the walk between the block source and the pyramid, which is the trip the loop repeats most.

  4. 4

    Track your completed pyramids

That counter is what unlocks the next gym: 1, then 3, then 8, then 15, then 25 pyramids.

Desktop

The most precise movement for the repeated carry trip. Join a busy server: the objective is server-wide, so other players’ carrying is progress you share S1.

Bindings: read them from the in-game labels. No source documents them, and a guessed list would be worse than none S10.

Mobile and tablet

Same loop with touch movement; the carry trip is slower, which is exactly why the 2x gym at one completed pyramid is the first unlock worth aiming at S3.

Console

Supported alongside the other platforms, with the same shared-server loop S1. No console-specific rules are documented.

If the pyramid is already half built

Nothing breaks. The counter is the server’s, so work done before you arrived is progress you inherit S1.

Voice chat, camera and maturity

The experience page reports Voice Chat and Camera as supported with a Minimal maturity rating S1. A third-party tracker lists voice chat as disabled; the first-party values are used here and the disagreement is recorded on game status S6.

Common first-session mistakes

  • Training before carrying. The loop’s step 1 is the shared action; training serves it S1.
  • Playing on an empty server. A 100-player shared objective rewards joining where work is already happening S1 S2.
  • Buying a gym you have not reached. The pass skips the pyramid requirement; it does not train the stats for you S3.
  • Looking for codes. Checked on 2026-09-18: none is verified — see codes S1 S3 S8.
